You Don’t Have to Know It All
Confession: I am that person who will research 47 different Amazon reviews before buying a $12 water bottle. And don’t even get me started on how long it takes me to pick a Netflix show. (By the time I decide, it’s bedtime.) 🙃
Somewhere along the way, I convinced myself I have to know everything before I move forward. Every angle. Every outcome. Every possible “what if.”
But you know what usually happens? I end up stuck… still thirsty and still show-less.
Here’s what I’m learning: God never asked me to have it all figured out. He just asked me to trust Him enough to take one step. Even if it’s a little wobbly.
Even if I don’t have a 5-point plan, a backup plan, and an emergency plan for the backup plan.
And honestly? That feels like a big exhale. Because every time I finally step out, I find out He’s already there, filling in the gaps.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
So if you’re waiting until you know it all before you move forward… consider this your permission slip. You don’t have to know it all. You just have to know the One who does. (And maybe how to order takeout. That one is essential.)
