Stillness is Loud
Hey, I don’t know if you’ve ever felt this… but sometimes I don’t want to stop.
Like actually hit pause.
Because when it gets quiet—whoa—the what-ifs get really loud. The stuff I’ve been pushing down? Yeah, it comes rushing right to the surface. And if I’m honest, I’d rather keep moving than deal with it.
But then there’s this other truth I’m bumping into… God meets us there too. In the questions. In the noise inside our hearts. In the stillness we’re not sure we want.
So if today feels a little too quiet for comfort, I get it. You’re not the only one. I’m learning to sit in it too, even when it feels messy. And in those quiet moments, I’ve started to notice the tiniest whispers of hope—like God’s way of reminding us: “I’m still here. I’ve got you.”
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Maybe the quiet isn’t something we have to fear. Maybe it’s a place we can walk into together, trusting that God’s already waiting there.
